Edward "Grandpa Jones" Rucinski, 76, Mosinee, died Monday September 2, 2013.

He was born March 19, 1937 in Guenther, son of the late Joseph and Anna (Gburek) Rucinski Sr.

He was a Dairy Farmer in the town of Knowlton for most of his life. Edward loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. Some of his hobbies included gardening, cooking polish foods and listening to polkas every Sunday morning. Edward was loved by many and will be missed tremendously.

Survivors include his children, Gail Rucinski, Wisconsin Rapids, Sara (Joe) Loftin, South Jordan, Utah, Matt (Nikki) Rucinski, Lucille (David) Brandt and Jeremy (Jessa) Rucinski all of Wisconsin Rapids; eleven grandchildren; siblings, John (Ann) Rucinski, Mosinee, Antone (Jane) Rucinski, Elizabeth (Carl) Pawelski, both of Stevens Point, Gertie (Alfred) Buelow, Mosinee, Ann (Harry) Cisewski, Grace (Albin) Cisewski, both of Stevens Point, Diane (Leroy) Iczkowski, Mosinee and Theresa (Glen) Kussman, Warrenville, Ill and many friends.

He was preceded in death by Casmir (Louelyn) Rucinski, Regina (Edwin) Negrocki, Joseph Rucinski Jr., Frank Rucinski, Steve Rucinski and Louis Rucinski.

Services will be at 11:00 am Friday September 6, 2013 at Saint Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Knowlton. Rev. Dennis Stanchik will officiate. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10:00 am until the time of the services Friday at the church.

Beste Funeral Home, Mosinee, is in charge of arrangements.
