Nancy Joan Borski, age 89, of Stevens Point, died peacefully on January 15, 2021 at North Haven Assisted Living in Stevens Point.

Nancy was born on November 20, 1931 in Stevens Point, WI. She was the daughter of Ben & Genevieve (Thompson) Redfield. She attended the local schools and graduated from P.J. Jacobs High School in 1949. She went on to attend CSTC College which is now known as UWSP.

She married Raymond Borski on April 10, 1950. He preceded her in death on June 16, 1982.

Nancy worked for Shopko for 28 years and retired in 1995. She was a member of the Republican party and attended almost every state convention every spring. She went to the Republican National Convention in Philadelphia in 2000. Nancy was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. In her free time, Nancy enjoyed cooking and yard work, and many visitors to her house, on seeing her abundant plant life, commented on her "green thumb."

Survivors include children, Robert Borski of Stevens Point, John Borski of Green Bay, and Bonnie (Gary) Dehler of Tucson, AZ; sisters, Linda Steffen & Roberta Brunette. She is further survived by 9 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ben & Genevieve Redfield; husband, Raymond Borski; son, William Borski; brother, Dr. Tom Redfield; sister, Mary Sybeldon; and her beloved cat, Sneakers.

A time of visitation will be held on Friday, January 22, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Boston Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be held 1:00 p.m. on Friday, January 22, 2021 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Rev. Todd Mlsna presiding. Burial will follow in McDill Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, family asks that memorials be made out to the Alzheimer's Association.

The family is grateful for the care and compassion provided by the following: Atrium Assisted Living, St. Michael's Hospital, Copperleaf North Haven, and Compassus Hospice.
