James Cloar Obituary
James was born July 28, 1944, in St. Joseph. He attended North Kansas City High School in North Kansas City, Mo.
Mr. Cloar was a veteran of the United States Air Force, serving from 1962 to 1966. James worked as a hydro meteorology technician for the National Weather Service for 33 years before retiring in 2000.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Doris Page; sister, Sharon McQueen; and stepfather, Ralph Page.
Survivors include numerous cousins and several close friends.
A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 12, at Heaton-Bowman-Smith & Sidenfaden Chapel, St. Joseph. Inurnment will be held at a later date.

Mr. Cloar, I visited your house today. I felt very sad that you left so suddenly and had no one to share your articles, or you life story . I hope that your next life is filled with much happiness.
