Bailey, Margie A. nee Powell, age 78, of Columbia, IL, formerly of Belleville, IL born January 14, 1931 in East St. Louis, IL, died on Tuesday, July 14, 2009 surrounded by her loving family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald J. Bailey; her daughter infancy, Regina Bailey; her son-in-law, Steve Kohlberg; her parents, Richard and Regina, nee McStay, Powell; her uncle and aunt, Henry and Grace McStay; her sister, Betty Donovan; her brother infancy, Richard Powell; her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, William Bud Bailey, George (Joy) Bailey, Robert Bailey, Al (Mary Libby) Laskowski, Catherine Sissy Lawson, Jack and Margaret Drennen, Bill Ring, Sorkis Webbe, Sr and Michael Donovan, Sr. She is survived by her four children, Donna Kohlberg, Charles Totsie (Linda) Bailey, Mary Millas and Jane Bailey; her grandchildren, Steven (Jenny) Kohlberg, Kyle (Julie) Kohlberg, Elizabeth (Jason) Kohlberg- Shubirg, Michalene Millas, Theodore (Beth) Millas, William Billy Millas, Donnie (Becca) Millas, Charlie (Mary) Bailey, Christopher and Sarah Bailey; her great-grandchildren, Khalysta Bettorf, Drake Bettorf, Austin Millas, Theo J. Millas, Macey Millas, James Dylan Kohlberg, Mackenzie Kohlberg, Brandon Shubirg, Alana Bailey, Karlee, Kassidy Bailey and expecting Benjamin in October; two sisters, Mary Jean Ring and Patricia Webbe; brother-in-law, Al Lawson; her sister-in-law, Ann Bailey; her special friends, Betty Martz, John Wilson, Charlotte and Jim Threkeld and Paul Brummer; and several nieces and nephews. The Ancient order of Hibernians service will be held at 5:30 p.m. at the mortuary. Funeral procession to leave at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 18, 2009 from Kassly Mortuary, Fairview Heights, IL for a 11 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Fairview Heights, IL with Father Ray Schultz officiating. Per Margie's wishes, she will be cremated.
