Mr. Arana was my elementary school music teacher and he was the one to first teach me how to play the violin in the 3rd grade. I stuck with it all the way through until graduation from high school. Mr. Arana was a fantastic role model, a fantastic teacher, and I have fond memories of my elementary school days and my love of music that began with him. May he rest in paradise.

Dear Marilyn and Family. I was shocked and deeply saddened at the news of Pat's passing. He was a great friend and bandmate in The Kommotions. A first class musician, gentleman and a joy to be around. My heart goes out to all of you. I will long remember Pat and the good times we shared.

Mr. Arana was my elementary school music teacher and he is also one of the only handful of people as I was growing up to make my childhood fun and have higher expectations for me than I had for myself. He was good role model for me, I really liked his class and he will definitely be missed! Great teacher and person, I'm truly sorry for your/our loss. God bless.

So sorry to hear about the passing of Pat last week. He was a good friend. I so enjoyed the times we performed music jobs together. Pat was such a pleasant person to be with. I was very fortunate to have him as a musical associate and friend.

Dear Mrs. Arana, I am Sandy Ungar's daughter Lisa, and my dad told me of his passing. I wanted to extend my condolences to you and your entire family. I vividly remember Pat and seeing him play in the band with my dad. He was so kind, so loving to all, and I just loved seeing both of you together. Words can't express how much I know he will be missed. Much love. Lisa Ungar
