Cory, you were my best friend. I think about you everyday. I had moved away in the past few years and instead of playing golf or poker every weekend we just talked every weekend. Over the past decade I think this is about the longest I haven't talked to you. I miss our talks and I will miss you. Our Deepest Gratitude from the Cory Wilson Family:

On behalf of Cory Wilson’s family, I would like to express our deepest gratitude to the area businesses, organizations, and volunteers that came together at our darkest hour. As we have all witnessed, Cory has touched many lives. His presence on this earth has made a great impact to us all. He is loved by many and will be dearly missed.

So many people, area businesses, organization and schools helped out in funding and organizing the dinner that accommodated 350+ people that was held at the American Legion after the service in Cory’s honor.

We cannot express enough how grateful we truly are to you all. To watch a community come together so quickly and just make things happen like they did, it was just amazing.

Thank you for your thoughtfulness, generosity, selflessness, and hard work. The Cory Wilson Family truly appreciates it and will never forget it.

To the Wilson family,
Please know that we both are saddened by your son's death. We got to know Cory when he was playing football at McKendree. He always had a smile for you!! The last time we saw him was at a wedding where he gave both of us a big bear hug (as only Cory could do!!) and huge smile. That is the way we will remember your son. Know that even though he is no longer on earth he will always be in your hearts!!

GOD CREATED ALL

When all was chaos, all was night,
'Twas God who said, "Let there be light."
He made the earth, the sea, the sky,
The sun, the moon, the stars on high.
He made the herb, the plant, the tree,
And peopled all the lands and sea.

'Twas God who said, "Let us make man,"
And in His multifarious plan
Created all things, great and small,
That move on this terrestrial ball.
Yea, made them in His all-wise plan,
To meet the varied wants of man.

'Tis God who paints the little flower,
Who sends the sunshine and the shower,
Who keeps us every hour,
Who by His wisdom and His power
Supplies man's wants from day to day,
And points him to the living way.

All things live and move and be,
But how or why we cannot see.
Man could not tell from whence he came?
Nor could he tell where he shall go;
Did not the good book plainly show?

So, whether great, or whether small,
The good God created all.
All for you and all for me,
Oh God! Our God! How can it be?
Suns and systems, planets, stars,
All, all this universe is ours.

May his life NOT be lived in vain, may his time he lived be always reflected in those who knew and LOVED him!

May God be with his family, friends and ALL his ABB family world-wide.

As my pastor at First Baptist Church/Jefferson City, Missouri stated in a recent sermon, "before we can have peace in our lives we MUST let go of all the junk," I AGREE.

LET GO...LET GOD.

Every day I give THANKS for all the many blessings in my own personal life, my job ABB/Jefferson City, Missouri), my health, friends , family and the wisdom that comes with the aging process.

ALSO, I invite ALL ABB employees world-wide to please visit my personal website http://www.gerrymack.com with hope it offers some form of comfort, inspiration and focus on things that REALLY matter most in life.

Cory,
Just like Jared, I have basically known you all of my life. I remember watching your high school games as my dad coached you. I also remember going to Mckendree games to watch you play. You were my hero when I was little and I also got to coach with you when I got older (now). You represent what the Kahok football program should be. You have shown what happens when you work hard and have shown our players the same traits that it takes to win. I'm sorry that you won't be able to see us get the program completely turned around, but this season will be dedicated to you. I'll always remember you as an older brother to me. I miss you already Cory, and you were taken away far too soon. My prayers are with you and your whole family. You are in Gods hands now. Thank You Cory. R.I.P.

It is truly a tragedy, for such a young life to be taken. It doesn't seem that long ago, that we as parents, were on the fields of Collinsville High School, cheering for our team in 1998. 1st 8-0 start, 1st Top Ten Post Dispatch Poll, 1st State Ranking, 1st 8 win Season, 1st State Home Playoff Game.Cory made East All-District Team in 1998, along with Nathan York, Kory Kimbrell, and my son, D'Marco Anderson.
