Beloved husband of the late Elizabeth Betty Leadlove (nee Schuepfer); dearest father of Mark (Tara), Laura (Chris) Woepke and the late Michael (Dianne) Leadlove; dear grandfather of Erika, Benjamin, Jackson and Kelsey; our dear brother-in-law, uncle, great-uncle and cousin. Earle graduated St. Louis University Law School in 1956, he served the United States Marine Corps from 1956 to 1959 while participating in Operation Blue Bat in Beirut Lebanon in 1958. Recipient of Combat Action Ribbon and Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal. He practiced law in St. Louis Mo. since 1960 with the law firms Walther and Cloyd; Leadlove and Byrne; Barnhard and Baer; Lashley Baer and law office of Earle B. Leadlove. He was Chairman of The Young Lawyers Group, Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis (St. Louis Bar Association) 1965-1966; Chairman Young Lawyer Section, Missouri Bar 1967-1968; Delegate to American Bar Association conventions 1964-1967; former member of Board of Directors Missouri K.I.D.S.; former President and member of Board of Directors Concord Village Lions Club (1960 - present); charter member of Marine Corps League; member of V.F.W. Post 3500; volunteer at Kirkwood Train Station; member of St. Louis Committee Marine Corps - Law Enforcement Foundation and recipient of Semper Fidelis Award 2011. Services: Funeral from KUTIS AFFTON Chapel, 10151 Gravois, on Friday, March 2 at 12:30 p.m. Interment J. B. National Cemetery. Contributions to Marine Corps Law Enforcement Founda tion appreciated. Lions Rose Service on Thursday at 7 p.m. Visitation Thursday 3-9 p.m.

Earl was a volunteer at the Kirkwood Train Station. He worked Saturday mornings and I enjoyed our conversations regarding the station and his service to our country as a Marine. Earl will be missed.

I am so sorry to hear this. Earl was a good man and I enjoyed working with him on projects at Post 3500. All the ladies respected him and the way he carried out the mission of the VFW. Heartfelt condolences to all his family from myself and the Ladies Auxiliary.
