Beloved husband of Joy Leistritz (nee Reinwald) for 41 years; dear father of David and Mark Leistritz (Stephany-nee Tramel); dear grandfather of Aloura Alvarado, Trace Leistritz and James Leistritz; beloved son of Vera (nee Bunselmeier) Leistritz and the late Harold Leistritz (1996); dear brother of the late Barbara Leistritz; the late Harold Leistritz, Jr.; William Leistritz (Jere - nee Doerschlen), Carol (nee Leistritz) Giamanco (Sam); Helen (nee Leistritz) (David) Hoppe; dear brother-in-law, uncle, great-uncle, cousin, friend of many and special friend of James and Sara Moores. Member of Ebenezer Lutheran Church for 36 yrs., retired electrician for over 30 yrs. with the City of St. Louis Traffic Department. Member of International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local #2, life member of Missouri Numismatic Society, life member of Central States Numismatic Society, member of World Coin Club of Missouri, Ozark Coin Club, Numismatists of Wisconsin, Past Camp Commander of Sons of Union Veterans William T. Sherman-Billy Yank Camp 65, member of St. Louis Railway Terminal Railroad Association, Railway Enthusiasts Club, Brewiana Association, Abingdon Pottery Club. 'Train Man' of Montgomery County, Mo.
