Wagner, Raymond T. Sr. 91, passed away surrounded by his family on Monday, January 7, 2013 at his home in Ballwin, Missouri. Fortified with the sacraments of Holy Mother Church. Loving husband for 57 years of (Mary) Loretto Wagner (nee Muenster); devoted father of Anne (George) Gantner, Mary (Jim) Gardner, Raymond T. (Ann Trousdale) Wagner, Jr., John F. Wagner, Catherine (Tim) Gansmann, and Elizabeth (Bruce) Paulus. Adoring grandfather of 25 and great-grandfather of 11. Dear son of the late Leo and Margaret Lanzel (Corcoran) Wagner. Beloved brother of Margaret Mary (nee Wagner) Goss. Preceded in death by siblings Bernard Wagner, Lawrence Wagner, Rita Wagner, and Albert Wagner. Dear brother-in-law, uncle, and cousin. Raymond was devoted to his Catholic faith, his wife, Loretto and his family. He was born on a farm in Troy, Kansas. In 1948, after graduating from the University of Kansas, he moved to St. Louis, Missouri. He then received a Master's of Science in Applied Mechanics from Washington University. He was a WWII veteran who served in the US Air Force. Raymond was an aeronautical engineer at McDonnell Douglas for over 45 years and remained in St. Louis. However, he never lost his love for Sunflower country and the K.U. Jayhawks. Services: Funeral Mass at St. Clare of Assisi Catholic Church, Ellisville, Friday, 10:00 a.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. If desired, contributions may be made to Our Lady's Inn, 4223 S.
