Bridges, Ronald Edward Eddie was born in Springfield, Missouri on October 4, 1948 and passed away on March 15, 2013. Son of Joyce Dalton O'Quinn and the late Edward Bridges; beloved husband of Terry (Gallagher) Bridges, and loving father of Derek, Brandi, Julia, Jason and Leah. Eddie was preceded in death by his cherished daughter Melanie, and siblings Kathy and Kelly. Brother of Keith and Ricky, and proud Pappa of Kaylee, Dalton, Cassidy, Garrett, Tristin, Madison, Sydni, Logan, CC and Colin. Loving uncle, brother-inlaw, and trusted friend. Eddie was a decorated Vietnam Veteran, honored with the Purple Heart Medal. He was also awarded the Vietnam Service Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Rifle Sharpshooter Badge and Good Conduct Medal. Eddie was a friend to all and had a heart of gold. He was a quiet yet strong man; a true nature lover who could make anything grow. Services: Visitation from 4-8 pm Thursday, March 21, BOPP Chapel, 10610 Manchester Rd., Kirkwood. Burial at Resurrection Cemetery Saturday, March 23 at 11 a.m. The family requests donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or The Disabled American Veterans.
