Foley, William P. Jr. Died on a beautiful Spring morning April 11, 2014. Bill was born in Montreal, Canada 1936. His family moved to California when he was a small boy and where he attended k-12 schools. He gained US Citizenship and joined the US Air force after graduating from high school. He resided in St. Charles, MO. While in the Air force he was stationed in England where he met and later married his first wife. He went on to get his degree in business and was very successful working in the title insurance business until he retired. He had passions for both hockey and golf. He loved the Blues and enjoyed taking his friends and family to games. His home away from home was Glen Echo Country Club where he spent much of his free time until his health no longer permitted. He loved his golf friends and annual golf outings to Naples, FL with the gang. Bill also had a tremendous love for dogs - he spent his retirement years assisting the Five Acres Animal Shelter in St. Charles, MO as well as the Humane Society. If anyone is inclined to bestow a memorial, please consider those two worthy charities. He is survived by his sons, Robert and Michael Foley; daughter, Louise Gardner, Son in law Jim Gardner; brother, Norman Foley, sister in law Patsy and their sons Scott and Tom; grandchildren, Richard and Sam Garesche, Jamie Gardner, and Kimberly Foley. Services: A memorial is being planned and the details will be shared thru his family and friends.
