Emmendorfer, Cletus H. born July 25, 1926, in St. Louis, Missouri, passed away peacefully from this life surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, April 29, 2014. He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Betty Emmendorfer, (nee Mathews); sons Michael (Janet), Joe (Tina), Bob (Rose), Matt (Tita), daughter Jill (Steve) Stewart; 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and sister-inlaws Pat Emmendorfer and Sue Thomas. Cletus was preceded in death by his parents Henry and Lillian Emmendorfer; sisters Gladys (Bill) Fahey, Loyola (Richard) Bagsby, Elaine (Claude) Bagsby, brother George; sister-inlaw Rose Driskill; mother-in-law Enid Mathews Wilkerson and father-in-law Owen F. Wilkerson. Cletus was a retired teamster Local 688, a member of the VFW Post 3944, American Legion (Thoman Boothe), and an honorary member of the KC Hall Bishop Wurm Council 1376. He was a faithful parishioner of All Souls Church since 1953 and a member of Holy Name Society. He served proudly in the United States Army from 1945-46. Services: Funeral from ORTMANN'S 9222 Lackland, Overland, Fri. May 2, 10:30 a.m. to All Souls Church for 11 a.m. Mass. Interment Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to All Souls Church. Visitation from 9 until 10:30 a.m. Friday at Ortmann's.
