Fink, John 'Jack' 78, called home to be with the Lord on Friday, May 16, 2008. Beloved husband for 54 years of Marilyn Fink (nee Kaibel); dear father of Margie Heidemann, Jacalyn (Dale) Ferguson, John (Kerri) Fink, Jr., and Stefanie (Danny) Combs; dear grandfather of Gregory and Steven Heidemann (fiancee, Erin), Brittanie Ferguson, Lauren Fink, Grace, Thaddaeus and Jedidiah Ferguson; dear brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend of many. 'Jack' was a retired St. Louis County Police Major and a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, Overland, Creve Coeur American Legion Post No.397, Overland-St. Ann V.F.W. Post No.3944, Past-Captain and member 10th District Guard of Honor, Charter member of Overland Business Association and member of numerous other organizations. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to Backstoppers, St. John's Mercy Hospice, Our Redeemer Lutheran Church or a charity of your choice.Services: Funeral Tuesday, May 20, 10 a.m. at BAUMANN COLONIAL CHAPEL, 2504 Woodson Rd., Overland.
