Burst, Sr., Leonard H. (former Alderman & Director of Elections) of Hillsboro, MO, November 5, 2012. Beloved husband of Toni (nee Panter) Burst; loving father of Doetta (Jim) Davis, Leonard Chip Burst, Jr. and Lisa (Dennis) Holland; loving stepfather of Sharilynn (Art) Duncan; dear grandfather of 7; dear son of John (Doetta) Burst; loving brother of the late John (surviving) Maryann) Burst and his beloved lab, Ozzie and dear friend to many. Leonard was Alderman, 16th Ward, 1969-1983, Director of Elections 1983-1993. He was a Majority member of Carondolet Order of DeMolay and Past Dean St. Louis Preceptory LOH DeMolay. 40-year member of Meridian Lodge #2 AF&AM; Ascalon Commandery #16 Knights Templar; Scottish Rite, Valley of St. Louis 32 degree and Moolah Shrine Temple. Past President and Director Emeritus of Moolah Chanters El Koran; Past President of National Chanters Assoc.; 2nd Tenor of the National award winning Nobles Four quartet, winning first place 5 years, awarded Ambassador of Moolah, member of Motor Patrol and past Membership Chairman and Titlauacan of Arca Teocalli #21, Order of the Quetzalcoati. Len was Past President and member of the board of the Raintree Homeowners Assn. and a member of St. Martins UCC Church, Dittmer, MO. Though he loved to fish and hunt, he loved golf often playing as much as four times a week. Services: Visitation Monday, 2-8 p.m. at CHAPEL HILL Mortuary, 6300 Hwy 30, Cedar Hill, MO. Visitation Tuesday, 9 a.m. until time of Service at 10 a.m. at Chapel Hill Mortuary. Entombment at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Cedar Hill, MO.
