Natoli, Carmelo J. It is with great sorrow that the Natoli family announces the passing of Carmelo Joseph Natoli. Carm as he was known to family and friends passed away peacefully on November 8, 2012. He was born to the late Rocco Sr. and Frances Natoli, May 5, 1932, in St. Louis, MO. As a young man Carm worked as a machinist. In 1973 he started his own company Natoli Engineering, now a worldwide competitor in the pharmaceutical industry. Carm branched out into many other successful ventures including Hotels, Real Estate, Golf Courses and Restaurants. Carm was not only a successful business man but an avid pilot, handball player and golfer. He was the 2002 Italian Open Man of the Year, as well as 2011 inductee into the Missouri Athletic Club Hall of Fame. He was an active member in many community organizations. Carm was passionate about making a difference in people's lives. He was also active in numerous charities, The Arthritis Foundation, Wings of Hope and World Pediatric Project, just to name a few. Carm has touched so many lives through his work and his personal life, he will forever be missed. Carmelo is survived by his six children Deborah Natoli, Michael Natoli (Fran), Dale Natoli, Vince Natoli (Tami), Susan Natoli-Jacobs (Frank), Patti Natoli, his seventeen grandchildren, Tom (Gina), Julia (Steve), Justin, Stephen (Susan), Nick, Matt, Kali, Melissa, Michael, Erica, Daniel, Anthony, Sarah, CJ, Clayton, Bradley, Mitchel, his brother Rocco Natoli (Maryland), his aunt Rose Hessler and many other special friends that have been a part of his life. Services: The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the Cathedral Basilica of St. Louis, 4431 Lindell Blvd. at Newstead, St. Louis on Friday, November 16 at 10 a.m. Interment will immediately follow at Bellerive Cemetery, 740 North Mason Rd., Creve Coeur, MO. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to Missouri Friends of Injured Marines, P.O. Box 229187, St. Louis, MO 63122. The family will receive friends at THE LUPTON CHAPEL, 7233 Delmar Blvd., University City on Thursday, November 15 from 1 p.m. until 8 p.m. Condolences at A SERVICE OF THE LUPTON CHAPEL
