We are so sorry that Frances has passed away. I believe I am a 3rd cousin of Frances' and had met her when she and her husband came to Oregon to visit sometime ago. I took my mother Amanda Gilles Goldade and her to visit my aunt Mathilda Gilles who lived in Salem, Oregon at the time. Both my mother and aunt are no longer living.

My husband George and I so enjoyed visiting with her and the stories she told me about my grandfather Peter J. Gilles when they lived in Minnesota before they moved to Oregon in the early 1900's.

I hope to do some genealogy for the Gilles family and if someone would contact me sometime regarding your family, I would really appreciate it.

Again, I am sorry for your loss and we will keep her in our prayers during this Christmas Holiday.
