Alphonse H. "Cuda" Edwards, Sr., 70, died in Meridian, MS. He was born to the late Willie and Maggie Edwards in Gulfport. He graduated from 33rd Ave. High School and was a veteran of the USMC. He retired from Entex after 30 years. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Alphonse H. Edwards, Jr.; two brothers, Willie Earl and Marshall Edwards and one sister, Joyce M. Edwards. He is survived by his wife, Myrtis Edwards, two daughters, Apyrill and Magan Edwards; one son, Jeremy Edwards; three siblings, Annette (Carl) Hardric, Johanna Haynes and Anthony (Jackie) Edwards, one aunt, one uncle and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Memorial service will be Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at 11:30 a. m. at J. T. Hall Funeral Home, chapel.
