Charles Greenbaum

Greenbaum Greenbaum, Charles passed away peacefully from cancer in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida on September 6, 2009 at the age of 83. He was the owner and operator of Mayflower Valet, in Washington D.C., for over forty years. ?Chachie?, as he was known by those closest to him, and his wife, Sylvia, spent over 50 fabulous years together prior to her death in 2006. Family and friends will fondly remember him for his engaging take-charge personality and his love of conversation. As a husband and father, he was the rock of the family. His boys will remember him for the wonderful person he was and as the person they wish to be. He will be forever loved. Charles leaves behind four devoted sons, Monte, Michael, Gary and Scott, as well as daughter-in-laws Diane, Nan, Macey, Monica and Scott?s fianc?e, Hope, five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He also leaves behind a brother, Irving, a sister, Mimi and his loving companion, Janet Cohen. A private family service will be held to celebrate his life.
