E. Ross Zimmerman (71) of Coral Springs, FL passed away peacefully Sunday morning, January 3, 2021. Ross was born on November 5, 1949 in Montreal, Canada.
Ross was a brilliant and highly respected trial lawyer in the firm he owned with his wife of 21 years, Karin Bayne. He was a pillar of the Jewish community and past president of Temple Beth Am of Margate. His passion for living life to its fullest was unsurpassed. He was quick to laugh, generous to a fault, and he loved travel, theater, and cooking amazing meals for his friends and family. But perhaps most of all Ross was a devoted family man, profoundly in love with Karin and intensely proud of his children and grandchildren. You would be hard-pressed to find a man who derived more joy from his family than Ross, and we are shattered that he is gone.
Ross is survived by his wife, Karin Bayne, his four children Stephanie (Michael) Friedman, Jessica (Jeff) Lippman, Adam Zimmerman, and Joshua Zimmerman; his three grandchildren Samuel Friedman, Jackson and Ellis Lippman; his brother Rabbi Mark (Linda) Zimmerman and his sister Risa (Terry) Worrow.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Temple Beth Am, 7205 Royal Palm Blvd. Margate, FL 33063 or Congregation Beth Shalom, 5303 Winters Chapel Road, Atlanta, GA 30360.
