Loren Lyon

1933 - 2014

Loren Lyon, age 80, of Boca Raton, Florida passed away on February 10, 2014. Born in 1933 in Chicago, IL to Cele and Ben Lyon. Loren graduated from University of Illinois. He married Judith Eisenstaedt in 1958 and they lived in Chicago until relocating to North Miami Beach in 1973. Loren worked for Prudential-Bache Securities for over 50 years. He was known for his hard work ethic, mentoring others and his great love for his wife, children and grandchildren. Loren is survived by his wife Judith, and Alan & Nancy Lyon, Phyllis & Jerry Braun and his children, Allison & Lloyd Segan & Robin Lyon Gardiner and his loving grandchildren, Madison, Emily, Michael and Rose, and his many nieces and nephews. Loren was preceded in death by Lorraine & Harold Paddor and Herman & Mildred Eisenstaedt. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, February 16th at 12pm at The Gardens , 4103 N. Military Trail, Boca Raton. The family will be sitting Shiva following the service at their home. Donations may be made in honor of Loren at The Jewish Federation of South Palm Beach County or Hospice of Palm Beach County Foundation.
