Reuben Schneider Obituary
Reuben was born on February 12, 1936 to Anna and Julius Schneider in Bronx, NY. Reuben graduated high school at age 16 and studied economics at the University of Miami, then joined the army. When he finished his military service, he attended the University of Miami Law School, graduating number two in the class and editor of the law review. He then achieved his goal of attending Harvard Law School where he earned a Masters of Law Degree.
Upon graduation, he took a job as legal counsel for IBM then moved to Hollywood, Florida to work as a real estate attorney for Abrams, Anton, Robbins, Resnick and Schneider law firm, a career he absolutely loved.
He married Lois Feldstein in 1963 and they had two children, Andrea and Walter. After his wife died in 1978, Reuben devoted himself to raising his children as a single father. Reuben had a great sense of humor and a wonderful ability to laugh at himself. He loved to travel and visited many places during his lifetime. Reuben was kind and generous and positively impacted many lives with his kindness. He was adored by all who knew him.
Reuben is survived by his daughter Andrea (Chris) Hernandez, son Walter (Cindy) Schneider, grandchildren Lily and Jack Hernandez and Ben and Leah Schneider, as well as many dear friends who were like family to him. A private funeral service was held in Hollywood on April 26th.
