It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved daughter, Shadae L. Quigley. Shadae passed away on March 23, 2021. She was born in Martinsburg, West Virginia on April 4, 1991, an only child to parents David and Shawnie Quigley. Shadae grew up in Harpers Ferry, West Virginia and was a 2009 graduate from Washington High School. She worked for eight years at the Food Lion Grocery Store in Shepherdstown, WV. Shadae was a wonderful daughter that was loved so much, is missed, and will always be cherished. She loved reading, watching the Investigation Discovery (ID) channel, swimming, going to amusement parks, taking family vacations, and anything Harry Potter. Shadae was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Gerald Quigley; maternal grandfather, Gerald Pendley, and her beloved dogs, Shiloh, Otis, and Rebel. In addition to her parents, Shadae is survived by her boyfriend, Jason Haverty, her beloved english bulldog, Hank, who shares her same birthday, April 4th; grandmother, Natalie Quigley (Nana) and grandmother, Deborah May (Nanny); Aunts and Uncles – Denise and Eric Rexroad; Dan and Jessi Quigley; Doug and Tina Quigley; Sherry and Jim Flohr; Shelly Petersen; Crystal Pendley; and Stacey and Dan Burke; Cousins – Justin R., Casey, Alyssa; Andie, Leah, Ethan; JR, Justin K., Joseph, Jaxson; Samantha, Sloan, Hunter; and Logan. Shadae will be remembered for her kind, loving, and giving spirit, her sense of humor, quick wit, infectious laugh, and a smile that would light up the room. Memorial services will be held from 2:00-4:00 pm on Saturday, April 10, at the Fred Hunter's Blackburn Funeral Home located at 718 South Federal Highway, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33316, with John Garippa of Downtown Harbor Church, officiating. For family and friends that cannot attend in person, we will stream the service and utilize zoom for individuals to share a fond memory of Shadae.
