Virginia (Ginny) Keene entered heaven on March 24th and was joyfully reunited with her beloved husband, Harold, and cherished son, Gary. She lives in the hearts of her son Tom (Grace); granddaughters Jessica (Brian) Kubis and Jamie (Giovanni) Santi; great-granddaughters Makayla, Lola, Wyatt and Lucy; sister Shirley (Chris); nieces, nephews, cousins and life-long friends. She shall always be remembered for her vivacious personality, huge smile and quick wit. Ginny touched the life of countless people with her compassion, energy, positivity and loving spirit. Virginia and family moved from Chicago to Plantation, Florida in 1968, and she began working as an administrative assistant for Broward Estates and Pine Ridge Elementary Schools. She and Harold actively served in various capacities at Parkway Christian Church and The Worship Center. Ginny loved big-band music, dancing, reading, doing crossword puzzles and history. She was an accomplished pianist with a beautiful voice. Friends and family will be received, Tuesday, April 6th, between 5-7 PM, and her funeral service will be held, Wednesday, April 7th, 11 AM, at T.M. Ralph Plantation Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Lauderdale Memorial Park. Arrangements by T. M. Ralph Plantation Funeral Home, 7001 NW 4th Street, Plantation, FL 33317 (954) 587-6888, www.tmralph.com. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all - Tom, Grace, Jessica, Jamie, Shirley and all the family. It’s been a hard year for you losing both of your moms 30 days apart. We loved seeing and chatting with Ginny at Parkway and the Worship Center, at her house you all decorated with thousands of lights at Christmas, and at Plantation Terrace when our parents (George and Ruth) lived there, too. Such sweet memories of so many years! We will see you later in the year when we’re back in Florida. Love to all, Tom, Cathy, Brad, Aubrey, Lisa and the grands
