Bill and I go back to Penn State in the late 40’s. We were roommates and friends for many many yearsHe and Arlene even lent us his car for a vacation. He was a beautiful person and took great pride in all of his kids. I knew his parents on Washington St in Phila. I was all set to wish him a Happy Birthday. One of my oldest friends.

So sorry about “Poppa Bill” - - A life well lived and a man who always had a smile and joke (or three) to share. He will be missed, and leaves behind many happy memories for his family and friends.

Bill was a gentleman through and through. His sense of humor and good natured attitude made everyone around him feel comfortable and welcome. He was my favorite bridge partner and I will miss him.
