ANGELO ROCCO CARMEN ANILE, RPh, 85 of Paris, PA passed away Thursday March 10, 2016 at Broward Health Imperial Point, Fort Lauderdale, FL. He was born August 16, 1930 in Steubenville, OH. He was the son of the late Leonard and Mary Gabrielle Anile. Also preceding him in death was a grandson, Philip Angelo Anile. Angelo was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Church; a U.S. Army veteran, having served in the 101st Airborne as a medic...the "Screaming Eagles"; Graduate of; Weir High School(1948); 1952 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh with a B.S. in Chemistry; 1958 graduate of Duquesne University School of Pharmacy; member of the American Pharmacy Association, Duquesne Alumni Association. Angelo was a pharmacist who owned/operated his drug store from 1961 until retirement. He worked alongside of Sheldon Hess for many years. Surviving are his wife of 60 years. They were married December 26, 1955 in Pornichet, France; Marie Bernadette Fortune Anile; sons, Philip Anile(Kathy) of Geneva, OH, Paul Angelo Anile DO of Belmont Shore, CA; daughter, Michele Anile Meli of Lighthouse Point, FL; sister; Eleanor Rogers(late Warren) of CA; brother, Lewis J. Anile RPh(Jay) of Weirton, WV; grandchildren, Gabrielle, Michael, Ava, Mia Meli, Jacob Anile, Lauren Anile; a special Aunt/Godmother, Theresa DiMaccio of San Diego, CA; several nieces/nephews. Visitation will be Friday March 18, 2016 5:00-8:00 p.m. at STEEL & WOLFE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 380 Penco Road, Weirton, WV. Mass of Christian burial will be held Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph the Worker Church, 229 California Avenue, Weirton, WV with Reverend Manuel Gelido as celebrant. Entombment will follow at St. Paul Cemetery. Military funeral honors will be rendered by VFW Post No.10 and the WV honor guards. www.steelandwolfe.com
