I am sending my deapest condolences to the Boehm family. I have not been in contact with you in many years, but you have been on my mind so much this month so I decided to search for you (Fred and Mike )to see how life was treating you. I came across the news of your mother passing.......She was a wonderful soul and I am sure she is in Gods hands watching over the wonderful family she has left behind. I know she was proud of her grandchildren, and her sons. You will be in my prayers and I know it does not help ease the pain, but she is in a better place waiting for the time to meet again at the Golden Gates. God Bless you Kathleen and family.

My Dear Family...
I feel so blessed to be Kathleen's cousin.
Many memories begin as a child when she took the family kids to Pirates' World... to adulthood talking to her on the phone and visiting with her at family functions. I will always cherish my memories and will try to live as she taught by example - by just being herself. Kathleen was not judgmental, quietly delivered a strong presence, gentle, a great listener, had a strong work ethic, true friend, giving, not pretentious, an angel, a woman so dedicated and proud of her family, cherished her friends, dedicated to her work....and so much more!!
Hopefully, many of us will follow her footprints and live having learned by her examples.
Kathleen was an angel on Earth and is an angel above.
God bless all those who have been blessed to have crossed her path in life as I have!! Keep her and her smile close to your heart.
I love you, Kathleen and family.

Ok this one is for Dustin,
I can't believe your grandmother went on the HULK 13 times. I went on 7 times and thought I was going to faint. Your Grandmother would share stories about the nice times you both had together at Universal Studios and Island Of Adventure. The last time we spoke she was giving me advice on where to a stay. My son & I went up in June and had a blast because I followed her direction. The last thing she said to me was "tell me about it when you get back." Only she never came back to work.
I know you are very sad and that you must miss her, but I think she would want you to remember all the good times. You were her special grandson. We would compare my son with you all the time. You two are the same age. We would share pictures and stories all the time. Hey did you ever get the big dog you had wanted??? Call me any time.

It has taken me this long to be able to write this entry. I am Kathleen's daughter-n-law. We have heard it gets easier that has not happened for us yet and in time I am sure it will with all of the support and prayers we have received. It is long term for us. She was the most amazing woman like all of her friends have said but most of all she was the best grandmother and mother. She was her grandchildren's life and they were hers. We have the best memories of her with us that anyone could ever have. She will always be in our hearts and with us forever. We love her and miss her with all of our hearts.

Both my husband and I knew Kathleen. I first met Kathleen in 1986 when she worked in the Marketing Dept. She impacted everyone with whom she came in contact and she got the job done. She seemed her happiest when she talked about her grandchildren and I can still see her smile with pride. She will be very very missed.

I, Kathleen's youngest sister, always knew how special she was to me. It has brought me a great deal of comfort to hear just how many people she had touched throughout her 61 years. She was someone who had worked her way from the bottom. Kathleen was someone who kept a person's secrets, never held a grudge, respected hard work, never expected from someone else more than she had expected of herself and did not have an envious bone in her body. I could always count on her for absolutely anything. I will miss her terribly.

Kathleen will truly be missed. All of her USPS marketing counterparts relied on her wisdom and experience, and we extend our sympathies, not understanding why sad things like this happen but hoping that it will somehow help for you to know how much we cared about her. May all of the wonderful memories you have of her bring you comfort. Every single person who worked with her knew how much she loved her family!

I will greatly miss Kathleen. I first got to know her while she was working in Hollywood PO. We became close friends and worked closely in the Miami PO. She, Janie Chappell and myself (Cookie Mincey) used to give seminars together. We worked so well as a trio.. Kathlees was a real trouper, never shirked responsibility, no matter what, was always cheerful to her coworkers, peers, customers, and superiors. The Post Office has lost a real lady.

Over these past few days many wonderful memories have come to mind of KB. I was fortunate enough to work for Kathleen in the mid 80s. She gave me my first chance to get into management on a detail assignment. She not only taught but demonstrated the meaning of being professional, dedicated and providing quality work. She was all business, but Jim, Janice, Debbie and I all knew there was a softer side too. We always looked forward to Monday mornings to see if Kathleen had a new story to tell about "the boys". No matter what shenanigan Fred or Mike had pulled, she would always share it with a smile or laugh. I will always remember her smiles and laughter. Latter, stories and pictures of the grandchildren she shared with such pride and joy. Kathleen may have started as my boss, but due to her guidance and friendship, I was able to develop my Postal career with a strong foundation she helped be build. Over 20 years ago, she gave me a Halmark mug with a matching lid cause she knew I loved to have my hot tea at my desk. I still have it in my kitchen cabinet and use it. "The Inspiration" poems inscribed on it always gave me such great and apropos memories of KB when I used it over the years, now ever more precious. Thank you KB for always being there for me. With love and blessings to you and all your family, Mel

When we transferred from Southern California to South Florida, Kathleen was one of the few people who welcomed us with genuine kindness and friendship. Over the years we enjoyed swapping stories about the antics of our grandchildren. We affectionately called her "Grandma" and we will truly miss her.

Our dear sweet friend Kathleen,
From the early days with Karen at Hollywood to the latter days with Alan at the Distrct, you always took good care of us. Your good advice and guidance was not only sought, but provided without hesitation to us as well as many others. We know your kind and gentle soul is still watching over us. May you find the peace you so richly deserve. To your family and many friends, you have our deepest and most sincere sympathy. You are all in our thoughts and prayers.

I always deeply respected, admired and liked Kathleen and was shocked and saddened to learn of her passing. From my own recent experience, I know and understand your heartache and pain. Trust that God knows what is best for our precious loved ones. I know He will help you cope as He continues to help me. I hope you can find peace and comfort in knowing our loved ones never really die -- they are alive in another place -- and some day we will all be together again.
In love and prayer,

Hi Kathleen - I just want your family to know (because I personally believe you are still here watching over all of us) how much an impact you had upon so many many people you worked with. I had always planned to attend your retirement - never this. But now instead, as friends and co-workers we are comforting each other by sharing our stories one-by-one with tears in our eyes but also with laughter & love. May it provide some comfort to your family to know how much you affected all of us and may their own happy memories of you help them in the days ahead. You will never be forgotten.

Always willing to be there for hands-on assistance or moral support, Kathleen was more than a colleague to many of us. She was a dedicated mentor, patient teacher and committed friend. May memories of her warm smiles and joyous laughter stay with all of us, her family and friends, as Kathleen would have wanted us to remember her.

Kathleen always had a smile and kind words for those she encountered. As counterparts, we would share experiences and success stories to help each other frequently. She went out of her way to make our visits to the Miami area special and pleasant. Her family was very dear to her as she always would light up when talking about them especially her grandchildren. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during your time of bereavement. Find comfort in the many fond memories and know that impacted many lives in a good way.
