I had a dream a few nights ago about my childhood. In my dream it was myself and my friend Butchie who lived a few houses away.
Butchie and I were going down back to the pond ice skating, we were kids about 12 years old.
Down back was another name for the woods.
The dream was in color and felt like we were in a movie. We were walking and laughing as we took the shortcut next to the Holland Club Bar.
We went down the hill over to the pond.
The dream continued and it was the best dream I had in a long time. I woke up with a smile thinking of Butchie and childhood memories.
I said to myself you have to look him up.
Here I am at 1:35 AM writing this with sorrow.
My condolences to Wayne, Stacey and all of the family.

My deepest condolences to all that loved Alvin. I had the honour and pleasure to be Alvin's hairdresser and I can say he truly touched my spirit. A very kind and charming man who will be deeply missed. Until we meet again my sweet friend.
