August Henry "Junior" Bredemeyer III Obituary
Trent - August Henry "Junior" Bredemeyer III, 70, died Monday, Dec. 22, 2014 in a local hospital.
Graveside services were at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 24 in the Trent Cemetery with Pastor Dick Griffith officiating, directed by Starbuck Funeral Home. Visitation was from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
August was born April 17, 1944 in Taylor County to Rosie (Young) and August Bredemeyer, Jr. He graduated from Sweetwater High School and was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He worked in the oilfield for many years and was a truck driver for DuBose Oil Company. He was an outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting deer and arrowheads. He was also an artist and builder. He loved his family.
Survivors include his sons, Buddy Bredemeyer and Joey Bredemeyer both of Trent; sister, Alma Conway and husband Curtis of Abilene; brothers, Jerry Wayne Bredemeyer and Robert Charles Bredemeyer and wife Gayla of Sweetwater, Michael Bredemeyer of Levelland; grandchildren, Mindi, Marissa, Joey, Jr. and Rachelle; great-grandchildren, Clay, Damian and Ariana.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Teddy Joe and Buddy; daughter-in-law, Terri; and grandson, A.J.
