Betty Worthington Obituary
Betty Worthington, 80, of Big Spring passed away Friday, September 16, 2016 at Parkview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM Friday, September 23, 2016 at Trinity Memorial Park Peace Chapel.
She was born July 23, 1936 to Sally Walton Putzier and Elmer Putzier in Newcomerstown, Ohio. She has been in the Big Spring community for fifteen years, moving from Slaton. Betty was a homemaker and secretary. She was a member of 14th & Main Church of Christ.
Betty is survived by one son: Trevor Worthington of Dallas; three daughters: Evelyn Lucas and husband Franz of Carrollton, April Gibson and husband Terry of Sweetwater and Alice Baker of Mansfield; one daughter in law: Debbie Worthington of McKinney; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son: Alan Worthington and two brothers.
