Billy Wayne Frazier Obituary
Graveside services for Billy Wayne Frazier, age 89, of Malakoff, formerly of Roscoe will be at 11a.m, Tuesday, November 8, 2016 at Roscoe Cemetery with Mondel Rogers officiating.
Interment will be at the Roscoe Cemetery under the direction of McCoy Funeral Home in Sweetwater.
Visitation will be Monday, November 7, 2016 from 6 to 7:30p.m at McCoy Funeral Home in Sweetwater.
Frazier died Saturday, Nov. 5, 2016 in Malakoff.
He was born August 18, 1927 in Merkel.
He married Lafae Butler on May 14, 1950 in Roscoe.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Roscoe. He graduated from Merkel High School in 1946 where he was an all around athlete participating in football and basketball and was inducted into the Merkel Football Hall of Fame in 1976. He loved fishing and he loved horses and competed in roping contest every chance he had. He was a long time employee of Nolan County and retired after 34 years of service.
He is survived by his wife Lafae Frazier of Malakoff, TX; two daughters Deborah Lindstrom & husband Charlie of Malakoff, TX,
Tonya Arpe & husband Billy of Roscoe, TX; grandchildren: Jennifer Scott & husband Shane of Georgetown, Cody Arpe & wife Brittania of Midland,
Patrick Brown & wife Katie of LaRue, Chad Arpe & wife Susana of Missouri City, Step-grandchildren; Linnea Marasky & husband Chris of Japan, Jeff Lindstrom & wife Erin of Seattle; seven great grandchildren and two step-great grandchildren, a sister Faye Huff of Amarillo and a brother David Frazier & wife Shirley of Gonzales, and numerous nephews and nieces.
?He was preceded in death by his parents; John and Vora Frazier, a granddaughter Mandy Brown, a sister Aileen Cook, and two brothers Wallace Frazier and Elby Frazier.
Pallbearers will be Cody Arpe, Patrick Brown, Chad Arpe, Shane Scott, Gaylond Frazier, and Rode Ammons.
