Bula May Brown Obituary

Bula May Brown was born on July 6, 1947 in Milam County to Catherine Brown. She moved to Sweetwater, Texas at the early age of 13. There she attended Booker T. Washington.
Bula was called home by God on January 20, 2016. Bula shared a deep love for her family, crafting and spending time with her grandchildren. She found love for the work she did, and never met a stranger that she didn't call friend. She worked for Pace Packing until the doors closed, which lead her to Walls Clothing Factory until those doors closed. She went on to work for USG until she retired. She then started working for the Nolan Nursing Home as the head cook.
Graveside services for Ms. Bula Brown of Sweetwater will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 23, 2016 at Sweetwater Cemetery. Services will be hosted by McCoy Funeral Home with the Reverend Homer Reddic Sr. officiating. The family will receive family and friends at McCoy Funeral Home from 7:00 p.m. until 8:00p.m. Friday, January 22, 2016.
Bula learned to cherish her memories of a son, Sammy Lee Brown, and a host of nieces and nephews and her grandchildren, her sister Erma Williams and husband Lowell Williams Sr., sister Zula Jackson, sister Debbie Brown, brother Howard Brown, brother Donnie Brown and Pastor Diane Brown, and brother Toby Brown all of Sweetwater, Texas.
Bula is proceeded in death by her twin sister Ola Williams Harrison, mother Catherine Brown, and some nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Danny Williams, Gordon Williams, Jaylon Williams, Ivory Taylor, and Derrick Williams.
Honorary pall bearers are Johnny Brown, Derrick Franklin, Paul Solis, Kurt Huckabee, and Brian Mosely.
