Clifford Errol Worsham, age 66, of Sweetwater passed away Saturday, March 4, 2017 at Home Place Manor in Hamlin. Clifford will lie in state at the funeral home until 5:00 P.M. on Wednesday, March 8, 2017. A private family only viewing will be from 5:00 until 8:00 P.M. No other services are planned at this time. McCoy Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Clifford was born March 4, 1951 in Gatesville, Texas to the late Donald Ray and Martha Amanda (Boone) Worsham. He moved to Sweetwater in 1962 and married Joy Gartman July 5, 1975 in Sweetwater. Joy passed away October 19,2002. Clifford had worked at USG as a quarry superintendent, was a past member of the model airplane club known as UMAC and he was of the Methodist faith. He is survived by his daughter Paulette Rode and husband Rick of Sweetwater, son Robert Worsham and wife Stephanie of Grove Town, Georgia, brothers James Worsham of Sweetwater, Donald Worsham, Jr. and wife Sheila of Colorado, sisters Linda Oden of Texas, Shannon Martin and husband Dale of Hamlin, Dora Schenkenberg and husband Bob of Sweetwater and Julia Smith and husband Russell of Abilene, Texas. Clifford was also survived by nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Honorary pallbearers will be Larry Ford, Russell Smith and Randall Cunningham.
