Fannie Luann (Hobbs) Utley Obituary
Fannie Luann (Hobbs) Utley, age 82, of Sweetwater, passed away Thursday, January 5, 2017 at her home. Funeral services will be at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, January 8, 2017 at McCoy Chapel of Memories with Reverend Keith Clower officiating. Interment will follow at the Roscoe Cemetery. McCoy Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Visitation will be Saturday from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Fannie was born December 7, 1934 in Winters, Texas to the late Thomas Henry Hobbs and Ganil Geneva (Richardson) Hobbs. She married Benny C. Utley June 11, 1955 in Sweetwater and he passed away January 8, 2007. She lived in Roscoe and Sweetwater most of her life, was a homemaker and was a member of the Highland Baptist Church in Sweetwater. Fannie is survived by her daughter Cathy Utley of Sweetwater, sons Billy A. Utley and wife Barbara of Sweetwater, Benny C. Utley, Jr. and wife Sondra of Lewisville, Texas and a sister Sally Harrington of Sweetwater. She is survived by her grandchildren Scott Utley and wife Lisa, Amber Tennison and husband Travis, Steven Utley and wife Marta, B.J. Utley and wife Kylan, Chad Thomas and wife Jamie, Sean Thomas, Heather Thomas, Jessie Thomas and wife Mystery, Sara Spears and husband Daniel. She is also survived by her great grandchildren Kaleb, Emmett, Landon, Colin and Mason Utley, Kayden Spears, Shyanne McClendon, Kayla Christenson, Katie Stapleton, Kelsey, McKinley, Braden, Logan and Rose Thomas. Fannie was also preceded in death by her son Jackie Wesley Utley August 5, 2016, great grandson Sean Thomas, Jr., four sisters and 3 brothers. Pallbearers will be Daniel Spears, Billy Utley, Jr., Scott Utley, Jessie Thomas, Chad Thomas and Sean Thomas. Online condolences may be expressed at www.mccoyfh.com
