Faye Annette Mills Obituary
Faye Annette Mills 75, of Sweetwater passed away Saturday, May 19, 2018 at Hendrick Hospice Care in Abilene. Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at McCoy Chapel of Memories with Rev. Tom Fraley officiating. Interment will follow at Sweetwater Cemetery under the direction of McCoy Funeral Home.
A visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at the funeral home. Annette was born August 17, 1942 in Inglewood, California to Joseph B. and Faye Carey Tumlinson. She married Jack Glen Mills on August 29, 1969 in San Antonio, TX. Annette worked for the Nolan County Auditor for 18 years as an Assistant Auditor. She also worked for the Pioneer City-County Museum. Annette was a member of Sweetwater Cornerstone Fellowship Church. She was a loving mother and grandmother and was a devoted daughter and was selfless with her family and friends. Annette was Sacrificial Generous with everything she did, making sure that everyone she knew was taken care of and meet their needs.
Annette is survived by her mother Faye Cary Tumlinson of Sweetwater, sons; Anthony Tibbit and wife Irma of Sweetwater, TX, Glen Mills and wife Danica of Sweetwater, TX, grandsons; Jonathon Tibbit of Abilene, TX, Timothy Mills of Lubbock, TX, granddaughters; Bridget Shumaker and husband D.J. of Lubbock, TX, Brittany Mills of Sweetwater, TX, Julia Howell and husband Ethan of Canyon, TX, Brionna Howard and husband Dylan of Franklinville, NY, Levi Little of Sweetwater, TX and great grandson; Matthew Tibbit of Clyde, TX.
She was preceded in death by her father Joseph Tumlinson, husband Jack Glen Mills and brother Gary Don Daniels. Pallbearers will be Anthony Tibbit, Glen Mills, Ethan Howell, Jonathon Tibbit, Timothy Mills and D.J. Shumaker. Honorary pallbearers will be Oliver Palmer, Dylan Howard, Donny Daniels, Ian Oden, Ray Orr and Gilbert Salazar.
