Frank Carpenter Obituary
Frank Carpenter, 60, passed away Tuesday, June 28, 2016.
Frank was born to Frank Lewis and Hannelore (Hett) Carpenter on October 23, 1955 in Bad Homburg, Germany. Frank attended Abilene Christian University for three years and then moved to Sweetwater where he resided until death.
Frank was a retired veteran serving in the U.S. Navy for six years and the U.S. Army National Guard for fourteen years. He was a Baptist and a Cub Scout Leader of Texas Trails Council. He also served as a Cub Master for Pack #146 in Sweetwater.
There will be a graveside memorial service at 12 noon on Friday, July 15, 2016 at Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Abilene with full military honors.
Frank is survived by his wife, Joyce Carpenter of Sweetwater, TX; four brothers, John R. Carpenter of Grand Rapids, Michigan, Mark Lewis Carpenter and Steven Edward Carpenter, both of Pennsylvania, and Robert Duane Carpenter of Massachusetts; and a sister, Annette Carpenter Donovan of Massachusetts.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations may be given to the Cub Scout Leader or the BSA Texas Trails Council, Abilene, Texas.
