Jeannette Marie Hall Obituary
Jeannette Marie Lantrip "Mimi" Hall, 77, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 16, 2015 at her residence in Abilene.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 19, in Elmwood Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Paul Matta officiating. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery directed by McCoy Funeral Home in Sweetwater.
A family visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. on Friday evening, Dec. 18, at Elmwood Funeral Home.
She was born May 29, 1938 in Anson to Wesley Alba Lantrip and Verna Alta Gaines Lantrip. After graduation from Anson High School, she married James Daniel Hall on Oct. 9, 1956 in Abilene. She had lived in Abilene since 1967 and worked for Mayfield Paper Company over 25 years. She was a member of the Church of Christ. Jeannette loved her family and very compassionate for others what ever their needs. She loved arts and crafts, cooking, dancing, camping and was an avid fisher and bowler.
She is survived by two sons, Joe Hall and wife Kristie of Sweetwater and James Daniel Hall and fiancee Anna Arreola of Bowling Green, Fla.; two daughters, Denise Bryant and husband Steven of Abilene and Cindy Bollinger and husband Michael of Abilene; a sister, Mary Sue McCabe of Abilene; and a brother, Ellis Lee Lantrip and wife Barbara of Abilene; as well as 12 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James Daniel Hall on May 2, 1967; a son, Dennis John Wesley (D.H.) Hall on Dec. 2, 2013; a brother, James Erwin Lantrip; mother-in-law, Ethel Farmer; and two sisters-in-law, Shirley Lantrip and Jo Reeder.
Pallbearers will be Jason McDonald, Justin McDonald, Michael Bollinger, Brandon Bollinger, Dustin Bryant, Michael McCoy, Zachery Bollinger and Kobe Clark.
Honorary pallbearers will be Seth Hall, Emily Anthony, Savana Hall and everyone that knew her as "MIMI."
