Jerry Don Bullard Obituary
Jerry Don Bullard 64, of Sweetwater, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 17, 2015 at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 20, 2015 at Broadway Baptist Church with Rev. Chris Stephens officiating. Interment will follow at Sweetwater Cemetery under the direction of McCoy Funeral Home. A family visitation will be held 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 19, 2015 at McCoy Funeral Home.
Jerry was born June 9, 1951 in Lubbock, TX to George and Dolly Bullard. He graduated high school in Lubbock and lived there before moving to Sweetwater in 1979. He married Kerrie Ballenger on Nov. 7, 2003 in Sweetwater. Jerry owned and operated Southwest Canvas in Sweetwater. He loved being outdoors, gardening and was a avid fisherman. Jerry loved animals and trained falcons and homing pigeons.
He is survived by his wife, Kerrie Bullard of Sweetwater; sister, Treva Havens and husband Bobby of Lubbock; brother, Greg Bullard and wife Julia of Austin; mother-in-law, Jennie Hollowell and husband George of Sweetwater; children, Tember Davis of Kerrville and Britt Hawkins of Sweetwater; granddaughters, Anastasia and Jayli Hawkins of Lubbock; step father, Edward Lemming of Lubbock; nieces, Vangela Perryman of Lubbock and Rosie Bullard of Austin; nephew, Connor Perryman of Lubbock; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Dolly Bullard.
Pallbearers will be Faron McCain, Aubrey McCain, Steven James, Eric Davis, Axel Moore and Scott Vause.
Honorary pallbearers will be Ronny Linebaugh, Silver Serrano, David Ramirez and Michael Rhodes.
