Jesse Wayne Fullwood Obituary
Roscoe, Texas - Jesse Wayne Fullwood, 75, passed away Sunday, May 10, 2015 at Rolling Plains Memorial Hospital.
Services will be Friday, May 15, 2015 at the Roscoe Church of Christ with Dan Boren officiating. Interment will follow in the Roscoe Cemetery directed by McCoy Funeral Home.
A family visitation will be Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m. at McCoy Funeral Home in Sweetwater.
Jesse was born Oct. 5, 1939 in Blackwell to Raymond and Irene (Hillis) Fullwood. He was a member of the Roscoe Church of Christ, a farmer and a life long resident of Nolan County. He graduated from Highland High School in 1959 and attended college at Texas Tech, ACU and Sul Ross. He also served at as president on Nolan County Farm Bureau for fifteen years. He married Patricia June Floyd Jan. 19, 1963 in Roscoe.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia Fullwood of Roscoe,; two sons, Curt Duane Fullwood and wife Carol of Munday and Gary Lynn Fullwood and friend Deni Rea of Sweetwater; two daughters, Janice Diane Fullwood of Roscoe and Cheryl Lyn Reyes and husband Leroy of San Diego, Calif.; a brother, Eugene Fullwood and wife Letha of Roscoe; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a granddaughter, Chelsea Ann Fullwood on July 6, 2012; a sister, Maxine Martin in 2014; and a brother, Donald Fullwood in 2013.
Pallbearers will be Joseph Shirley, Jarrett Fullwood, Grant Fullwood, Curt Fullwood, Gary Fullwood and Jimmy Joy.
Honorary pallbearer will be Hugh Raney.
