Holy Mass of Christian Burial for Johnny Landeros Villa, Jr., 59, of Sweetwater, will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 5, 2015 at Holy Spirit Parish Catholic Church with Father Charles Okonkwo officiating. Interment will follow at the Garden of Memories under the direction of McCoy Funeral Home in Sweetwater
He died on Monday, Feb. 2, 2015 in Fisher County.
A Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. Wednesday evening at McCoy Chapel of Memories, located at 401 East Third Street in Sweetwater.
He was born on May 11, 1955 in Sweetwater. He married Janie Carreon on Aug. 29, 1981 in Rotan.
He was a member of the Holy Spirit Parish Catholic Church. He was a life long resident of Sweetwater. He worked at and retired from Rolling Plains Compress from 1974 to 1989. He then became a cosmetologist and created Villa Hair Connections from 1990 until 2007. He was a graduate of Sweetwater High School and Texas College of Cosmetology.
Survivors include his wife, Janie Villa of Sweetwater; son, John Villa III and fiancee Kyrie Potter of Sweetwater; daughter, Krystal Elizabeth (Beth) Villa of Sweetwater; sister, Lupe Pena and husband Johnny of Sweetwater; and several nieces, nephews and brothers- and sisters-in-law.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Juan Villa. Sr. and Adelaida Landeros Villa.
Pallbearers will be Rodney Rivera, Eddie Perez, Dr. Gilbert Carreon, Jimmy Carreon, Aaron Pena and John Villa III.
