Lyle Jeter Obituary
On March 20th, 2018 the pearly white gates greeted its new resident. Lyle Jeter passed away surrounded by people who loved him, at his favorite time of day, lunchtime. Throughout his life, he received lots of love from his younger two brothers; his little sister and his mom and dad. In return for the love that he received, he gave ten times as much to the biggest, littlest family that anyone has ever seen, which consisted of his doting wife and his loving daughter.
Lyle Jeter lived a full life only two short months away from the age of 61. At the tender age of 17, he joined the Navy, where he became a jack of all trades and a Master of None, where he got to see the world and its different cultures twice over. He ended his services of four years, only to return home to show the world his many talents and bestow onto everyone he met, the best advice that he could give.
Everyone that met him for only a minute to the people that have known him forever, will miss his laugh, his grin, and his ornery attitude. We ask that everyone take the best memory that they have of him and bring it to Lyle's graveside service. Remember him with love in your heart and a grin on your face. With that, we pray for his safe passage into the arms of God.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Robbie; mom, Veedajo Jeter; daughter, Veeda Levon Jeter of Lubbock; siblings, Randy Jeter of Del Rio, Tracy Jeter of Nolan, and Debra Mahoney of Sweetwater.
Graveside services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 24, 2018, at Nolan Cemetery, Sweetwater, Texas.
