Margaret Ann (Perkins) Hart Obituary
Margaret Ann Perkins Hart commonly known as "Ma Hart", 85, of Sweetwater passed away Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at Hendrick Medical Center. Funeral services will be held 10:00 A.M. Saturday, September 30, 2017 at Lamar Street Baptist Church with Rev. Keith Clifton officiating. A graveside will follow at 2:30 P.M. at Aspermont Cemetery in Aspermont, TX under the direction of McCoy Funeral Home in Sweetwater. A visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Friday, September 29, 2017 at the funeral home. Ma Hart was born December 1, 1931 in Sidney, TX to the late Willie and Rachael (Hellums) Perkins. She married Roy B. Hart on September 1, 1961 in Hamlin, TX. She has lived in Sweetwater since 1991 and Clairemont from 1979 to 1991. Ma Hart was a woman of faith and devotion who lived an example with the priorities of Faith, Family, and Friends. She was an active member of Lamar Street Baptist Church. Surviving Ma Hart is son Tomas Hart of Roaring Springs, TX; daughter Bobbi Hammack-Smith of Nolan, TX, son Von "Britches" Hammack and wife Nan of Robert Lee, TX, daughter Jane Hart of Sweetwater, TX, daughter Lisa Jo Kelsey of Lubbock, TX, daughter Teresa Blocker and husband Kendel of Lubbock, TX, nineteen grandchildren, fifty seven great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, daughter Jenie Hammack Bell, a son Darvol Roy Hart and a great grandson Cotton Gregg. Pallbearers will be grandsons Steve Hart, Shawn Hart, Joshua Bell, Chad Hammack, Justin Blocker and Dustin Hart. Honorary Pallbearers will be her Granddaughters. Psalm 118:24 This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.
