Mary Ethor Millett Obituary
A graveside service for Mary Ethor Millett, 67, of Sweetwater, will take place at noon on Friday, April 8, 2016, at Texas State Veterans Cemetery. A memorial service will take place at 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 9, 2016 at McCoy Chapel of Memories with Rev. Chris Stephens officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of McCoy Funeral Home.
Millett died Wednesday, April 6, 2016, in Abilene. She was born April, 5, 1949, in Crane. She married Tommy Millett on Dec. 22, 1969, in Sweetwater. Mary was a wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her life was her husband, kids, grandkids and great-grandkids. She loved to sew and she loved flowers. She was a member of Sweetwater Ladies Auxiliary. Mary also loved fishing and hunting and to drive around to see scenic things.
Survivors include her husband, Tommy Millett of Sweetwater; daughters, Tammy Blount and husband William of Cisco and Tonya Osteen of Sweetwater; son, Daniel Millett of Sweetwater; 11 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two sisters, Christine Reeves and husband Bobby of Brownwood and Sue Howell and husband Jerry of Abilene; three brothers, RJ Germany and wife Pam of Mullin, Dale Germany and wife Debby of Pleasanton and Lawson Germany and wife Shawna of Bangs.
She was preceded in death by her father, Rodney Germany; her mother, Ruth Germany; sister, Irene Williams; and brothers David Powell and Johnny Powell.
