Pam Lee McCracken was born Aug. 5, 1952 in Sweetwater, the daughter of the late Leroy and Nora (Rannefeld) McCracken. She graduated from Sweetwater High School and attended court reporting school in Abilene. She married Bob Martini on Nov. 17, 1976 in Haskell, and they made their home in Stamford. In 1986, Bob and Pam operated the Lake Stamford Marina. This is where the famous "Pam Burger" was created. Pam was an excellent cook and her family and friends always enjoyed gathering at the house and reaped the benefits of her cooking talents. In later years, Pam managed the local Wes T Go convenient store. She was a member of St. Ann's Catholic Church.
Family left to cherish wonderful memories of Pam are her husband, Bob Martini of Stamford; a daughter, Carri Murphree and husband Josh of Stamford; three sons, Jeff Martini and wife Sandra of Oklahoma City, Tony Martini of Stamford and Steve Martini and wife Janice of Oklahoma City; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a brother, Johnny McCracken and wife Linda of Pflugerville; a sister, Brenda Parker and husband Jerry of Cordova, Tenn.; and many, many friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be sent to Hospice of Wichita Falls, 4909 Johnson Road, Wichita Falls, Texas 76310.
