Raymond Edward Schwarz Obituary
Mr. Raymond Edward Schwarz, 90 of Inadale, TX passed away on Monday, August 15, 2016 at his home.
Funeral service for Mr. Schwarz will be held on Thursday, August 18, 2016 , at 2:00 PM at Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home with Reverend Jim Townsend officiating, assisted by Reverend Joshua Smith. Internment will follow at Lone Wolf Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.
Mr. Schwarz was born on November 04, 1925 in Scurry County, TX to Eugene and Alwina(Stahl) Schwarz. He married Wanda June (Reed) on February 09, 1947 in Wastella, TX.
Mr. Schwarz was a lifetime Scurry County resident, farmer for 64 years, member of the Plains Cotton Cooperative Association, Inadale Coop Gin Board, PCCA Board, American Cotton Growers Association, Bank of Cooperatives Board Member, Conservation Farmer of the Year, Hermleigh School Board and a member and Deacon of Central Baptist Church in Hermleigh.
He is survived by his wife: Wanda June Schwarz, Inadale, TX; daughter: Dolores Cox, Allen, TX; son: Larry Schwarz and wife Linda, Snyder, TX; four granddaughters: Melody Semler and husband Carl, Plano, TX, Debbie Summers and husband Jason, Snyder, TX, Deana White and husband Rodney, Amarillo, TX, and Tamara Hanks and husband James, Farmersville, TX; grandson: Andrew Cox and wife Susan, Lubbock, TX; nine great grandchildren: Ashley Semler, Lubbock, TX, Nathan Semler, Plano, TX, Tahnee Summers, Abilene, TX, Taylor Summers, Snyder, TX, Drew Cox, Lubbock, TX, Brooklyn Cox, Lubbock, TX, Morgan Cox, Lubbock, TX, Samuel Hanks, Farmersville, TX, and Nathanael Hanks, Farmersville, TX; and one great great-grandson: Landon Davis- Abilene, TX.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, David A. Schwarz; sisters, Viola Stirl and Ida Schwarz.
Visitation was held Wednesday, August 17, 2016 from 6 PM to 7:30 PM at Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.
