She and George loved the mountains and cool weather and spent many summers at Fun Valley in Colorado. In 2002, they celebrated their 50th anniversary there with their family. Roxie and George were active members of Trinity Baptist Church for over 50 years where Roxie was active in many ministries. She is survived by her four sons and their wives: Bruce (Lesa) Abilene, Rusty (Vickie) San Angelo, Scooter (Bobbie) San Angelo, and Toby (Jana) Franklin.
