Samuel Earl "Bud" Feagan Obituary
Samuel Earl "Bud" Feagan, age 92, of Sweetwater passed away Sunday, March 26, 2017 at Rolling Plains Memorial Hospital. Services will be held at 4:00 P.M. Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at McCoy Chapel of Memories with Rev. Ryan Strebeck officiating.
Interment will follow at the Garden of Memories under the direction of McCoy Funeral Home.
Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at McCoy Funeral Home.
Bud was born May 30, 1924 in Stonewall County, TX to Clarence Earl and Lena (Pell) Feagan. He married Janie Inell Rushing on December 24, 1946 in Rotan, TX. Bud was a veteran of World War II serving in the Artillery Unit in the Army. He was a member of Hermleigh Masonic Lodge #987. Bud worked many years for Jolley Well Service and as a salesman for Adkins Supply. Bud was also an avid Golfer and loved to get out and play.
Surviving Bud is his wife Inell Feagan of Sweetwater; son Randy Earl Feagan and wife Ricki of Lubbock, TX; daughter Denise Ann James and husband Donald of Galveston, TX; grandchildren Lindsay Denise Bird and husband Brandon of Lubbock, TX, Matthew Reed Feagan and wife Tara of Arlington, TX, Erica Jane Farmer and husband Jason of Galveston, TX; Shelby Springer of Galveston, TX; great grandchildren Berkley Bird, London Bird, J.D. Farmer and Carter Farmer.
Pallbearers will be Rick Davis, Doyle Miles, Brandon Bird, Donnie James, Jason Farmer and Matthew Feagan.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Randy Feagan and Dr. Lufkin Moses.
