Davey Nast Obituary

Davey Nast
John David Nast, Jr. "Davey", 41, of Fort Smith, Arkansas, went home to Jesus on April 14, 2021, after a valiant battle with colon cancer. His final days were spent surrounded by family and friends in the peace of his home.
Two of Davey's greatest accomplishments were being a devoted husband to Lacey and an amazing father to his pride and joys, Gracie and Raelynn. He had always wanted children and considered himself lucky to have been given two beautiful daughters.
Davey will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 17 years, Lacey; children, Gracie and Raelynn; parents, John and Jeannie Nast; sister, Becky Whitfield (Micah); nieces and nephews, Rylee, Tristan, Hadley and Hampton; in-laws, Billy and Lisa Lee; brother-in-law, Lance Lee; and numerous other family and friends.
A celebration of life will be held Tuesday, April 20, 2021, at 10 a.m. at McConnell Funeral Home Chapel in Greenwood with burial to follow at Steep Hill Cemetery in Fort Smith. Visitation will be Monday from 1 – 7 p.m. at the funeral home, where the family will visit with friends from 5 – 7 p.m.
