Carole Raache
Carol Nichole Raache, 76 year old resident of Fort Smith died on February 19, 2021 at a local nursing home. She was longtime resident of Fort Smith and a former employee of Rheem Manufacturing. She was born May 1, 1944 at Bonanza, Arkansas, the daughter of John & Dorothy (Smith) McLaughlin. Survivors are: one son, Paul Richards, one brother, Hugh McLaughlin of Hackett, six sisters: Jenifer Turner of Sunrise Beach, Texas, Ella Gray and Kathy McBride of Pocola, Oklahoma, Debra McHugh of Fort Smith, Lura Hartsfield of Bonanza, Sue Clark of Natural Dam, four nieces, seven nephews and many cousins. Her parents and one sister, Wanda Bowles and one brother, Randy McLaughlin, preceded her in death. She was a loving, caring and generous person who will be greatly missed. Graveside service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at White Bluff Cemetery. Viewing will be from 9:00 to 5:00 p.m. on Monday, March 1, 2021 at Lewis Funeral Chapel in Fort Smith, AR. Arrangements are under the direction of Lewis Funeral Chapel in Fort Smith, AR.

She was my cousin. She was always so nice and fun when we visited Ark. She had such pretty red hair. I am sure she will be missed by a lot of people.
