Patricia Willis Obituary
Patricia Willis
Patricia Louise Willis, 81, of Mulberry, went home to our Lord on Tuesday, May 14, 2019. She was born July 19, 1938, to the late Curtis William and Addie Oletta (Manus) Batman. She was also preceded in death by her husband, William Riley Willis; a daughter, Carol Ann Griffin; a sister, Curtina Ann Bond; and a great-grandchild.
Patricia was of the Christian faith and became an ordained minister in her senior years. She shared God's worked with everyone by throwing voice, action and prayer. She never met a stranger and fed many people. Her other passion was crocheting — she made blankets for all of her family, friends and the people who helped her. Her favorite this to say was, "Know I crocheted this blanket with love so when you're warm, that's me giving you a hug." We love you so, so much mom.
Arrangements and cremation are under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home. No services will be held at this time.
She leaves to morn her passing four daughters, Cheryl Evans of Gallatin, Tenn, Mary Alice Marquez of Mulberry, Beverly Walker of Hendersonville, Tenn., and Jean Ortis of Phoenix; five sons, Scott Gwinn of Monett, Mo., Curtis Gwinn of Mulberry, Roger Gwinn of Alma, Chuck Gwinn of Fort Smith and Jason Willis of Van-Alma; 32 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; plus a host of friends.
Online tributes may be made at www.ockerfuneralhome.com.
