After college, he relocated to West Virginia and met his beloved wife, Jacqueline. They eventually moved to Arkansas, where they raised their family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Wanda (Walls) White.
He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Jacqueline White; one son, Phillip Brandon White and wife Kenzie of Van Buren; two daughters, Terra Harmon and husband Drew of Fort Smith and Christy Fuller of San Antonio; one brother, Christopher White and wife Shawn of Southlake, Texas; two sisters, Debbie Bosnick and husband Eddie and Tammy Suddard and husband Rick of Whitehall; and seven grandchildren, Evie, Lucy, Mary Harmon, Lilah, Jenner Little and Quinn and Scarlet White.

I have three people in this world that are my genuine true friends. Phil White was one of them. I am going to miss you Phil but I know I'll see you soon. Can't wait to see you and play those heavenly courses. I love you Bud.

Philip white was a very kind hearted man. He loved his family and he loved me. I spent many nights in his home growing up and will never forget them. I was always treated as family and never less. We have truly most a great man and I was happy to have known him. He never judged anyone by their past and was always willing to lend a helping hand to who ever needed it. I'm miss you dearly Mr White. Brandon I'm here for you and your family is I can be of any assistance with anything. I love the white family as they have always loved me. I hope you all the best in getting through this difficult time. This is RJ Brandon. You know how to contact me. Same goes for Mrs White. Or Jackie as I was always instructed to call her but I love you all and wish you the best in your transition to adjusting to life without such a great man.
